Would you say this summer will be a warm summer for an above ground pool to be up? Due to Covid, and the possibility that we may still be at home, having the pool up would be great get-a-way for the kids. There will likely have been a killing frost by then, and most of the demonstration garden areas shut down by the time of your visit. One final thing. Because your comment also talked about snow, which seems to be your biggest complaint. Keep in mind that it is warmer temperatures that produce more snow not warm as in, above freezing, but 20 degrees is warmer than Because the warmer the air is, the more moisture it can hold. So, during a polar vortex, you probably wouldn't expect much snow. The reason you saw more snow in the past is because the temperatures were a bit warmer.

However, you should still get plenty of snow on most years. Again, the primary reason for low amount of snow and lots of rain this past winter is because of El Nino, which repeats about every 15 years and lasts for a couple of years generally. There will probably be relatively less snow next winter too, but I highly suspect the following winter will produce lots of snow. Depending on your age, there was little snowfall when you were a kid for a couple of years because the last El Nino happened in Go ahead and look it up.

One of the lowest snowfalls on record for the state of Ohio. I looked up the data from Cleveland. So relax! In a couple of years you'll see plenty of snow! One more thing. In your comment, you're basically saying "we don't get many cold snowy winters anymore". The data for the recent past except for El Nino yearshowever, tells a far different story.

Long range weather forecast - United Kingdom

As I'm sure you know, most of the world will experience warmer temperatures. No offense, but I find it annoying when people complain and, in their complaining, show very little knowledge or understanding of the subject.

Sorry if I'm sounding mean, I 'm not trying to. Your comment bothered me enough that I wrote out these responses.

And I'm sure most would get annoyed when they think someone is complaining about something they know little about. Again, I'm not trying to be mean. I'm really not. We all make mistakes. My logic isn't always perfect. And if I'm making a mistake in my analysis now I'll gladly apologize and admit my foolishness. I'm simply trying to improve your understanding. I hope it motivates you to study the issue further.

Here's a good article to start. Well, I would embed the link but it won't allow me to.Winter temperatures will be above normal, on average, with slightly below-normal precipitation and near- to above-normal snowfall. I guess what I get from this forecast is that, It will be a below normal spring and early summer. I am so sick of cold temps, it is almost enough to make a person step off a chair with a rope. Clint, I notice your anti climate change winter forecast for the upper midwest was just the opposite of what really happened through what humans are inducing through our CO2, Methane additions to the atmosphereDeforestation and other lesser human caused climate change activities.

Humans have altered the "normal" patterns of Universal processes induced by God Until we reverse our dangerous imposition on "God's Plan" we will increase our threat to His regime and cast ourselves And by the way; I don't know how somebody got on this track in the comments but God does control the weather because unlike man the weather doesn't have free will. Let the weather run its natural course and be glad God gave you one more day in this world to enjoy it.

God bless! Since I was little more than a toddler I remember my father reading the OFA and discussing how often the predictions were spot on. He continued to read and base his activities on it until extreme age robbed him of the ability to reason.

I may not be a farmer or a gardener like Dad was, but I know when to plant my flowers and when to take up the bulbs or cover my plants to protect from frost. Their predictions are not based off of absolute zero point accuracy via day, hour, minute like a local news network.

Their predictions are guesstimates based on past weather patterns. One prediction could be found by past weather seasons shows X for temperatures and Y for precipitation and they notice that, that specific trend happens every 6 years. That goes for each year, each year has a corresponding past weather trend or pattern.

Also you bring up God in your comment, one thing you fail to realize is much like why bad things happen in the world, God doesn't control the weather, that goes against free will.

So when there's a tornado, God actually did let that happen because of free will.Accurate, timely and customized to your exact requirements, AccuWeather warnings, forecasts, and weather data provide the critical insight your business needs to minimize risk, maximize opportunity and maintain business continuity.
